Aster Alpine White Aster Alpinus is a cold tolerant perennial native to cold climates and rocky terrain of Canada and Alaska. Easily started from seeds Alpine Aster features low to the ground, dense green foliage and produces masses of large, snow-white daisies with bright yellow centers. The plant begins to bloom early and butterflies and bees love to visit showy Aster flowers. 

White Alpine Aster is a superb early blooming flower for rock and alpine gardens, and this compact perennial is also an excellent border and container plant. Aster Alpinus grows best in full sun to partial shade, and it does not like excessive moisture, so well drained soil is important for growing this flower.
