Cabbage Chinese Michihili Brassica Rapa is a heirloom vegetable plant. Cabbage Chinese seeds germinate fast, and the plant mature in 75 days approximately. The seeds are best sown directly in the garden into finely raked, moist, weed free soil as early as 4 to 6 weeks before the last average frost date in spring. Cabbage Chinese produces 18 inches tall and 4 inches wide conical heads that have green or white leaves and stems.
Cabbage Chinese Michihili Brassica Rapa is suitable for both spring and autumn sowing. Brassica Rapa seeds should be planted about 1/4 inch under soil surface with 24 - 30 inches space between plants. Cabbage Chinese Michihili produces 3-5 pounds cabbage heads that are crisp, tender and they have a good flavor and blanch well. Cabbage Chinese can be stir-fried and used in various Asian dishes. The crunchy, pale colored Cabbage hearts are delicious chopped and eaten raw in a salad, coleslaw, or they can be boiled like ordinary Cabbage.
