Clematis Tangutica Aztek seeds require some cold treatment prior sowing, or the seeds can be started outdoors in a cold frame in the late fall or winter. Clematis grows best in full sun, but the roots have to be kept cool and shaded by mulch or low growing ground cover. Clematis Tangutica is very adaptable and drought tolerant, but the consistent watering with good drainage is needed.
