Gazania Kiss Orange Gazania Rigens is the modern, superior hybrid variety of naturalized Gazania species. Easily grown from Gazania Kiss Orange seeds and commonly called Treasure Flower, this South Africa native tender perennial plant in USDA zones 8-11 is grown as an annual garden flower in colder climates. Compact growing Gazania Kiss Orange forms dense, mounding clumps of narrow spoon-shaped, silvery, dark-green leaves and blooms with extremely showy, large, orange daisies on a top of short, sturdy, erect flower stems. Blooming Gazania is a magnet to butterflies and bees.

Gazania Kiss Orange is widely grown as a spreading, self-seeding, flowering ground cover, and Treasure Flower is an excellent performer when it is mass planted in flower beds or grown as an accent flower along borders, walkways, in rock gardens, containers, window boxes, and hanging baskets. Gazania Rigens seeds do not require any special treatment prior planting, and germination occurs in 2-3 weeks. Treasure Flower kiss Orange thrives in full sun tolerating drought and heat and flowering uniformly without any maintenance.
