Heuchera Coral Bells Sandia Mountain Alumroot Heuchera Pulchella is an herbaceous perennial plant native to central New Mexico, mostly in the Manzano and Sandia Mountains. Heuchera Coral Bells Sandia Mountain Alumroot seeds can be planted indoors or directly outdoors, and this miniature version of the well-known Heuchera species is a dense herbaceous evergreen perennial with tall flower stalks held atop a low mound of foliage with basal, scalloped, ruffled leaves with toothed lobes. Coral Bells Sandia Mountain starts to bloom in late spring with showy spikes of pink bell-shaped flowers with white overtones that rise above the foliage and attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

Heuchera Coral Bells Sandia Mountain Alumroot has a relatively fine texture that sets it apart from other garden plants with less refined foliage, and garden uses of this resilient plant include mass or group planting, rock and alpine gardens, border edging, container and pot planting, planting as a groundcover, and just general garden use. Heuchera Pulchella seeds need light to germinate, so they have to be sprinkled on top and pressed slightly into the soil and not covered. Sandia Mountain Alumroot grows best in sun - mostly shade and even moisture water conditions and does well in rich, well-drained soil. Heuchera Sandia Mountain is xeric in the shade, but it may need some supplemental watering in full-sun locations.
