Abutilon Bellevue Mix Abutilon Hybridum is a large genus in the Mallow family. Also called Flowering Maple or Parlor Maple, Abutilon can be grown from seeds, and this popular group of hybrids is semi-tropical, frost-tender shrubs that typically grow 24-30 inches tall. Flowering Maple plant will bloom with showy flowers in brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow from spring until frost.  The flowers are 3 inches in diameter with five overlapping petals.

Abutilon Bellevue Mix has lobed, maple-like, light green leaves that are often can be white and yellow.  Abutilon is grown as an annual plant in the garden or containers, but most often this flower is used as a houseplant if it is planted outside of zones 8-10. The container plants may be overwintered indoors as houseplants as long as they receive intense bright light and cool temperatures.
