Coleus Chocolate Mint Solenostemon Scutellarioides is a tropical perennial native to Java. It is easy to establish Coleus from seeds, and also called Flame Nettle and Painted Nettle, and this dwarf, bushy variety of Coleus features one of the most unique color patterns. Coleus Chocolate Mint has extremely attractive foliage with burgundy-maroon leaves that are edged with mint-green trim and have a matching reverse side. 

Coleus Chocolate Mint is very popular ornamental plant for planting in pots, containers, and hanging baskets. Solenostemon Scutellarioides seeds can be germinated without any special treatment. The established Coleus Chocolate Mint tolerates shade, preferring moist soil, and these features make this plant perfect for shady borders or any shady spots in the garden.
