Cosmos Daydream Cosmos Bipinnatus is a half-hardy garden annual native to Mexico. It is a good idea to start Cosmos Daydream seeds indoors, so the seedling can be transplanted to a garden for the early establishment. Also called Mexican Aster, Daydream Cosmos produces large, bi-colored, daisy-like flowers with yellow center and deep-pink petals that are edged with pale pink. Cosmos plant has very attractive lacy foliage, and its showy flowers appear from summer until first frost attracting bees and butterflies.
