Gloriosa Daisy Rudbeckia Hirta Sunset is a short lived perennial native to Eastern and Central United States. Gloriosa Daisy seeds can be started indoors or directly outdoors after last frost, and the plant will bloom the second year and successive seasons from expanding clumps. Gloriosa Daisy Sunset blooms with single or double, golden-yellow or bi-colored flowers but most often the center of the flower is brown and surrounded by petals in shades of yellow, gold and mahogany. Gloriosa Daisy are continuously flowering through the hot summer months attracting bees and butterflies. 

Gloriosa Daisy Sunset is one of the best cut flowers to grow in a cutting garden, and this wildflower is very popular for planting in flower beds, along roadsides, and for mass planting in naturalized landscapes. Rudbeckia Hirta Sunset seeds can be simply scattered in spring, summer, or fall on any soil, and just slightly pressed into the ground. The established Gloriosa Daisy is heat, drought tolerant and very adaptable to a wide range of soil types.
