Gazania Mix Gazania Splendens is a tender perennial plant native to South Africa. Gazania Mix seeds are often started indoors especially if this popular garden flower is grown as an annual flower in colder climates. Another common name of Gazania is Treasure Flower, and Gazania Splenders Mix is a compact growing just 8 inches tall flower that forms attractive clumps of dark-green, silver foliage and blooms with with the extra large, multicolored, solid and striped, daisy-like flowers on a top of sturdy flowers stems. Gazania Splenders starts to bloom in summer and blooms repeatedly all summer and fall long attracting bees and butterflies.

Gazania Mix makes a perfect container, hanging basket, window box and pot plant. Other garden uses of Treasure Flower include flower borders, flower beds, mass planting as a ground cover, and large, showy flowers of Gazania Mix bring a burst of color to any landscape. Gazania Splendens thrives growing in full sun and well-drained, light, sandy soil is preferred, but but the plant is very adaptable to less than perfect conditions.
