Sedum Goldilocks Stonecrop Sedum Selskianumis a hardy succulent plant that belongs to the family Crassulaceae and is native to Northern China, South Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Sedum Goldilocks Stonecrop seeds can be started indoors or directly outdoors. Also known as Amur Stonecrop, this Sedum is an evergreen perennial that forms a low mound of attractive foliage on finely hairy red stems which stand out against the lighter green foliage. The leaves are glossy with toothed margins, and they turn pink in cold weather. Bright yellow starry flowers emerge in late summer and are popular with a wide range of pollinators including bees and butterflies.

Sedum Goldilocks Stonecrop is an excellent accent plant for green roofs and walls, and is often used in rock gardens, alpine gardens, containers, borders, or as a groundcover. Sedum Selskianumis seeds germinate without any special treatment, and frost-hardy Amur Stonecrop thrives in full sun and gritty well-drained soil tolerating drought, heat and partial shade. Regular watering helps young plants to establish roots and spread quickly, but once matured, this Sedum can tolerate several months of drought.
