Sedum Stolon Stonecrop Sedum Stoloniferum is a succulent, evergreen perennial native to a region from the Caucasus to Iran. Sedum Stolon Stonecrop seeds have to be just slightly pressed into the soil for the best germination. Also called Stolon Stonecrop, this creeping, mat-forming plant features foliage with small oval green-red leaves and blooms with very attractive clusters of relatively large, star-shaped pink flowers.

Sedum Stolon Stonecrop is a frost hardy, trailing, succulent ground cover that spreads by stolons. Stolon Stonecrop is often used in mass planting for small areas, and it is one of the favorite succulents for growing in containers, borders, rock gardens. If Sedum Stoloniferum seeds are started indoors in winter, the seedling can be transplanted outdoors after last frost. The established Stolon Stonecrop grows best in full sun or partial shade tolerating even rocky, dry or moist but well drained soil.
