Lobelia Blue Carpet Lobelia Erinus is a herbaceous perennial plant native to southern Africa. For quicker flowering, Lobelia Blue Carpet seeds can be started indoors 10 - 12 weeks before the last frost, and despite being the tender perennial in warm climate, Lobelia Erinus is most often grown as an annual flower. Also known as edging Lobelia, this variety produces masses of small, showy, bright, light-blue flowers with white center.
